While we’re searching for more about the next Call of Duty title that in actually hasn’t fended off fans from trying to explore what the next game will be of Call of Duty. Almost everyone knows that Call of Duty games rotate between different developers each year, means that it is the turn of Infinity Ward to make the next title following the Sledgehammer Games’ titled World War II released in 2017 and the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 of Treyarch in 2018. With that in mind, the newest rumors circulating across the internet have focused on Tweets put out by the communication manager of Infinity Ward named Ashton Williams. Over a few weeks, she has been posting GIFs related to ghost on her personal Twitter account, leading several to take on that this meant the next Call of Duty title would be a sequel to Ghosts which released in 2013.

Similarity of Ghosts 2 deathstreaks to MW3’s

Ghosts 2 Deathstreaks is just a rumor right now, it may come with killstreaks as well. Deathstreaks, almost similar to Killstreaks or Perks, are a feature in Call of Duty titles such as Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3. The primary purpose of this feature is to console players to motivate them to get back into the game after receiving death a certain amount of time without any kill. However, Ghosts 2 deathstreaks effectiveness is restricted to discourage players from dying in streaks to activate them. This feature will be enabled upon each respawn the player has after the required number of deaths until a kill is earned. Moreover, the death streak is snapped, and the perk remains in effect for the remainder of that life.

Deathstreaks in previous COD games.

There are four different deathstreaks, and each requires a specific amount of deaths such as Painkiller, Martyrdom, Copycat, and Final Stand. The painkiller deathstreak allows the player to withstand three times more damage and lasts for 10 seconds after spawning. Martyrdom will drop a live grenade upon death. Using the Copycat the player can copy the killer class of the player which includes perks and weapons to use in the battlefield. Final Stand is deathstream that would kill the player will instead down the player. While going down, the player can use his primary and secondary weapons as well as equipment. However, the player that is downed for twenty seconds without taking any risk or damage stand up and are capable of continuing his playing as normal.
